The jiu jitsu clubs train in different locations to one another. The city centre is based around York’s city centre, and the University club at the Heslington campus.
City Centre Club
The club is based at St. Peter’s 8-13 School off Bootham, just outside the walls of York’s city centre.
St. Peter’s 8-13 School is the junior school of St. Peter’s School and provides tuition for a number of boarding students. For this reason the gates at St. Olave’s may be locked. The recommended entrance is via St. Peter’s School where there are also free parking facilities available.
The front door is usually locked and someone will have to let you in. Normally there is someone to do that before the starting time, but call us if you have any problem.

University of York Club
The University of York Jiu Jitsu Club trains at the University’s sports centre on the Fulford/Heslington edge of the campus. The University campus is easily accessible from the York outer ring road or by a 10-15 minute bus (service #66) or taxi ride from York’s city centre railway station.
If using a satnav, please use YO10 5NA which is for James College. You should be able to see the Sports Centre from the car park there.
