Bank Holiday Training 03/05/2010Even though it is bank holiday Monday on the 3rd May, Jitsu in York will be on as normal at both the University and city centre clubs. Times are the same as normal and we hope you'll be able to join us.
Training Begins in 2010The New Year (and a new decade) has just begun and the break from Jitsu over the holiday period is almost over. The city centre club is the first back to training and this begins at 7 PM on Monday 4th January. As ever beginners are welcome at all sessions as are people who maybe haven't trained in a while. If there are any University club students (from York or elsewhere) wanting to get in a bit of extra training before term starts then you are also welcome to come along to the sessions and get a head start on the coming term's training.
YTJC training at University Club (Monday 23/11/2009)Sensei Millard is unable to teach the YTJC session on Monday the 23rd November 2009. Arrangements have kindly been made by the University of York Jitsu Club to allow students to train with them at their session. Training times are the same but students should make their way to the University of York Sports Centre (pay at the desk) rather than St. Olave's School. YTJC sessions will return to the normal venue from Friday the 27th.
Temporary summer venue change for YTJCDuring the summer the normal training venue for YTJC (St. Olave's School off Bootham) is being closed for building work. From July to September the club will therefore be relocating. Since the University club doesn't train over the summer months, YTJC has taken up the Monday evening slot at the University of York Sports Centre. Important things to note:
Yorkshire Adult Grading - Q1 2009The adult's grading will now take place at the University of York (not Huddersfield) on Saturday the 21st of March 2009. The hall is booked from 11 AM until 5 PM though the grading will be held in grade order and lower grades could potentialy finish earlier than 5 PM. |
