Jiu Jitsu tends to make up a substantial amount of the life of a jitsuka -
even outside the dojo for those of us who actually socialise with other
jitsuka. This inevitably leads to some invented terminology entering into
conversations. Listed below are some light-hearted examples of the sorts of
things you might expect to hear in a Jitsu related conversation in your local
drinking establishment....
Sesh - An abbreviation of 'session'; applied to training in a dojo or consumption of alcohol in a public house
Slammin - An adjective applied to training sessions that infers a large amount of throwing was partaken of during the session, or in some cases that the session was merely tough but highly enjoyable
